Anna Bies was my grandmother. The correct spelling is Bies. She went by Mary. She and Ellis had a son, Victor Ellis. She divorced Ellis Warner very early and my dad never met his father. Mary later married Maxwell Munro who was the only father my dad ever knew. She and Max raised my dad in San Francisco. Mary and her sister were the family outcasts because of their divorcing their first husbands. We know nothing of Ellis, but Max was a great husband and grandfather.
