I'm looking for any information on the death / death date of Louis Bolinger born abt 1839 in Virginia and probably died between 1880 and 1900 in Ray County, Missouri.

Family lore has it that he was shot and killed by a neighbor because of a dispute over pigs. I have been unable to confirm this and/ or find a death date.

The family information I had was Raytown; but I belive it was probably Ray County as that's where his daughter Anna married Daniel Thomas McGaugh in 1887. Haven't found anything in either place as of yet.

For anybody following this message. I was able to locate Louis Bolinger (i.e. Lewis Bolinger ) his death was actually on his farm near Norwood, Wright County, Missouri. He was shot and killed in a dispute with some neighbor boys. His date of death was May 2, 1897. I have a little more information available.

Yes my understanding is he's the son of James Bolinger and Sarah Coffman Bolinger. Born about 1839 in Virginia (probably a part of the State that later became West Virginia).
