Was born to Eternal Life Friday, December 10, 2010, at the age of 49. Loving father of Kathryn, Drew and Alex Sobczak. Best friend and soulmate of Terre Borkovec, MD. Son of Ernest (Shirley). Fond brother of Ernest Jr. (Claudia), Thomas (Christine) and Patricia (Philip) Olson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Sobczak and sister, Charlene Nikolaus Sobczak. Also survived by the mother of his children, Cynthia Wagner, his lifelong friend, Peter (Patty) Penkalski, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dr. Sobczak was honored to be in practice for more than twenty years in Obstetrics & Gynecology with Patricia Barwig, MD, Amy Fox, MD, Steve McCann, MD and William Martens, MD.
Visitation at Greenridge Chapel Friday, December 17, 2010, 3:00-8:00 PM. Vigil service at 7:30 PM. Friends and family may gather at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Saturday, December 18, 2010, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Memorials to Sojourner Truth House appreciated.
