Can someone please tell me the Church and denomination for an Oct 2, 1888 Boston wedding (Martin Hogan/Bridget Norton), performed by a Rev G McAvoy?

Rev. James H. McAvoy was a curate at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church on Vernon Street, in the Roxbury section of Boston.
