You're welcome...If you problems in finding them in the civil records, there are also church records that you can look through.

If you look just above the dark image, you will see number 1 in the small box. That is just a page number. Over to the right do you see a back arrow and a forward arrow ? When you click those, that takes you to the next page or the previous page.

Here's a link for church records for the state of Guanajuato. I found most of my ancestors in church records during the earlier years. I don't think civil records were mandatory in the old days. So if you can't find them in civil, you also have church records to go through. Good luck :)

Thank you so much for the link. It has been very complicated to find more info about my ancestors. I had the fortune to meet my great, great grandmother when I was younger. My grandparents last names are Rocha Rangel and Rangel Regalado, I shared this because they are from Guanajuato as well does any of this last names match anybody in your tree?

Thank you

My last name is Rangel and my grandfather's family came from San Francisco del Rincon. His name was Martin Rangel, son of Victoriano Rangel and Ramona Morales. Victoriano was the son of Perfecto Rangel and Macsima Perez. I believe Perfecto remarried after the death of Macsima, because on Victoriano's death record, it says his parents were Perfecto and Maria Vidal Regalado. What town do your ancestors come from in Guanajuato ? Are you having any luck ?

They used to live in Mesa Cuata y Joya de Lobos, both places are in Guanajuato, Guanajuato. I was lucky enough to meet my great, great grandmother and my great grandfather. But it has been very dificult to go further that that....And it is funny because in your tree you have Rangel and Regalado ...wich I do to...do you have anybody from these places?
