Am trying to find parents to a William (David) Chapman who married a Catherine (Kitty) Mozingo/Muzingo on 2-21-1851 in Campbell County TN. These are my ancestors. I know of two children that they had: Tennessee Blaine who married Walter Lee Hickey, and a daughter named Nannie who married a Gradon. There may have been more children, but I am unsure as to names/dates. Any/all assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

I am interested in the Campbell County Mozingo family. I am looking for the family that included the following children: Lafayette, Isaac, Frank, Marshall, and two daughters.

Marshall and Frank Mozingo are in the 1860, I believe
census living in the household of John C. Chapman
and Orpha Riggs Chapman. However, I do not know who
they married etc. John and Orpha moved to Indian Vigo Countynty and Clay County from my understanding from relatives the two farms bordered both counties....the Mozingo
clan could have travelled to Indiana with them and some
of the Chapmans went from Indiana and on to Missouri
and it seems as though John and Orpha were one of the
first families to move on to Missouri

Hi Nancy, I hope this gets to you. Several Chapman researchers have been working for about 4 going on 5 years on. Tennessee Blaine married W. L. Walter Lee Hickey September 8, 1889 Anderson Co Tn.
One of their daughter Olivia Ollie, married Charles Probert October 3, 1873. Olivia and Charles went to Colorado for a while but moved back and settled in Anderson County
I would love to know more about the boys David, John, Frank and William. Would love to share information with you.

I have much more info on Wm. Chapman and Catherine Mozingo. More children Olllie, Mary Jane, David,
John, Frank, William, Tennessee Blaine, didn't know about the Nannie. Ollie married Charles Probert and I have some more on them. David married a M.C. Chandler apparently she died and he married Lou Debusk, have a little more on them.
John possibly married Maggie Bailey, I am not sure about that yet. There are a couple of possiblities on William, I am checking that now.
