I have collected many pioneer families that moved here betwen 1820-1890 and raised famiies, some stayed, some moved on the other states, yet I have managed to tie them all together within this database. you would be suprised to find who you are related to. I have about 38,000 people that have ties to this county. This is a little off the subject you are on but my GGGrandfather moved to Freeport, Walton Cty Fla sometime in the late 1800's and supposedly died there on 4 Aug 1878, I have tried every way to verify this but can't, also I am not sure if his wife, Phereby (Feribee?) Roper Sewell passed away in Fla. Any info you might have would be greatly appreciated

His wife was Mary Catrett and their children were Melvinie Parenthia; Catherine and Newton, among others. Melivine was born in 1862; died in Okaloosa County, FL.
