I checked out the obituaries for John and his wife Emma. They were survived by two daughters Margaret E. Keating of Seattle in 1944 and Mary Agnes at home. Emma had a sister in California, sister in Lynn, Mass and two brothers in New Brunswick. They had a nephew Harry O. Hamilton of Vancouver. John had a brother A. W. Donald of Vancouver.
