Look for info on George Lebourgeois, son of August Lebourgeois. He was born 1924 and died 1960. Need info on his wife and any children. Odette Lebourgeois is in the grave next to him. Is this his wife? Maiden Name? Cause of Death?

George Williams LeBourgeois was my Father. I was born in Plymouth,UK in May 1945. I was adopted when 6 months old. According to US Navy Records, my Father was Court Marshalled and shipped back to the USA. I too am trying to find out if he married, had children, and his cause of death in 1960. The Obituary in the Times Picayune mentions 'beloved husband of Lodie Moore' - I can find no trace of her. Your idea of Odette being connected is worth following up.

Le Bourgeois Jr; son of Catherine Phfister and August Le Bourgeois; brother of Mrs. Willard D. Yachim and August Le Bourgeois; aged 35 years; a native of Ponchatoula and a resident of Metairie La. for the past 2 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral, Tuesday, January 12, 1960, at 9 o'clock a. m. from the funeral home of Jacob Schoen and Son, Inc., 527 Elysian Fields Avenue, with Requiem Mass at St. Catherine of Siena church.
Interment in Maurepas cemetery, in Maurepas, La.
