I copied everything. Anyone interested can contact me.

My Maria Smallwood b. 1800 in Wash, DC married Levi Biggs
born 1786-1787 in PA. Thy were married on 8/30/1821 in wash, DC and are buried at Holy Rood Cemetery in DC.

Their is a beautiful portrait of him in uniform. I have a copy of that on my den wall. I also have found one of him standing in full uniform. He is buried on his home grounds, he is part of the original smallwood family. My brother is building a web page for me to put my family history on . I will let you know when he completes it. It will require a password to enter , that will keep out junk messages and so forth.

I am a descendent of the early Maryland Smallwood family that included Gen Wm. Smallwood. Our common ancestor is his grandfather James who was the first emigrant Maryland from England.

I have my Smallwood family tree from James down to the present documented but am looking for primary source documents like wills and family bibles.

If you could share anything you have on the Smallwooods, I would be greatly appreciative and would be glad to share my tree with you if you'd like.

Thank you,

Hi Terry,
Maria Smallwood was born in 1800 and died in 1878 in Wash., DC. Maria Smallwood married Levi Biggs in 1821 in Wash, DC. He was born 1786-1787 in Maryland and d. in 1871 in Wash, DC. Do you know if your Smallwood family also lived in Wash., DC. It is so close to Maryland. Do you have a Maria Smal;lwood in your data base?

I have Bible records of the related families to Gen. Smallwood's families, Courts etc. I am happy to share. I found these on microfilm from Maryland

Cherry,
I would love to see the records you found. Did you make copies of them?
I am from the Smallwoods that came west, first to Kentucky, then on to Kansas, Missouri, and the Indian territory.

My line comes down from William and Sarah (Philpot) Smallwood. They first went to N. Carolina, then westward through Kentucky, then to Missouri and the Indian Territories. They had a son, Samuel, who also had a Samuel, who had Thompson Smallwood, my great, great grandfather. Many of my line still live in Missouri. I grew up in Wisconsin
