I have been working on cemeteries in the area for a few years when I can find the time. I am finalizing the northern 2/3rds of the county. Some cemeteries are
Pritchard family plot,
Buffalo Lake Covenant,
Buffalo Lake Original,
Buffalo Lake Lutheran, Hillside,
Zion Swedish, Louriston township,
Havelock township,
Mandt Lutheran, Jevnaker Lutheran, Big Bend Lutheran, Kviteseid Lutheran,
Milan Methodist, Skogrand family plot, Immanuel Lutheran,
Watson Lutheran,
Zion Lutheran,
Reynolds family plot,
Crane family plot, Brono Lutheran,
Silvernail family plot, Trinity Lutheran of
Havelock, Saint
Johns Evangelical
German Lutheran. And one other west of Raymond. It started around 1940. I have digitized the
Watson Centennial book. That one has a copyright issue. But I can do lookups. I also digitized the 1939 WPA cemetery book for the county. Wait a minute. I would have added that Raymond one. It is Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Some cemeteries on borders are the
Golden family plot and Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. It was located in Lone Tree township but the moved the church and cemetery one mile east which is just inside
Kandiyohi County. Each one will have death index lookup at the courthouse. They will not let me has access to the newer death indexs because they contain social security numbers. I will have to ask them if they are protecting SSNs of survivors. If it is just the deceased SSNs then show them the SSDI index.
