Dec 1791, died 12 Jul 1868. She married Peter Schermerhorn 25 Mar 1809. I am looking for
her family; father was John Letts.

What part of the US were they from? I will keep looking but there are many John and Catherine Letts listed.

Catharine was born in either New York or New Jersey. I have Peter's family pretty well documented in New York; it's primarily the Letts's that I'm researching, at this point.

If you are still doing look-ups for LETTS information I'd be grateful for any insight you could share on Sherman B. LETTS.
I find him on the 1920 census in Rockford,Winnebago Co. Illinois.He is 48 years old and listed as having been born in Illinois and his father born in Wisconsin,mother born in Illinois.
His wife is Winnifred(Winifred) M. Lawrence.Sherman died Nov.1944 in Rockford and Winifred died Jan. 1954. They are both buried in Rockford,Illinois.
