I'm researching the Keithley family. Mabel Keithley (b. 1889 - 1982) married John S. Tomany (b. ca 1879). They were in Wausau, Marathan Co, Wisconsin in 1910. Later they lived in Joliet, Illinois.

My grandmother was Lenora Serena Eastman. Her Father was Eugene Eastman, her mother was Ida Lorna Nelson. They were married in 1898 in Iola.

My g-grandmother Effie M. Starks (Irish) second marriage was to Matthew Zahringer 8-8-1899 in Antigo, WI. Her first marriage was to Henry Irish and they had two children, Myrtle and Chester Irish. Chester was my grandfather. Matthew, Effie and the two children moved to Laona in late 1900 or early 1901 where they owned the Zahringer Hotel. Matthew's brother Phillip Zahringer also moved to Laona. Matthew and Phillip were the sons of Wendlin Zahringer and Mary Zimmer. Wendlin was born in Baden, Germany and was the son of Christian & Sidonia Zahringer. As far as I know the children were never adopted by Matthew but did use the name Zahringer for a few years before switching back to Irish.
