Hi,

I would be very grateful if someone who has access to the Atlanta Constitution or Atlanta Journal newspaper obituaries for the year 1966 could look up my relative. Her name was Joyce Harp, could be listed as Alice Joyce Harp and her maiden name was Tate. She was born 07/Aug/1917 in East Point or Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA to Sam and Kate Tate. She was married to Paul Harp and Frank Graham. She died 17/Jul/1966 in East Point, Fulton Co., GA. I am trying to find where she was buried. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to create an online memorial of her life and need her burial info.
Thank you so much,
Dayna Cohen McMullen

I found her burial place just this morning. Her granson contact me and gave me the name of the cemetery after talking to his father. I called the office and they gave me the lot and plot number. I was so excited.
Take care and thanks again,

I just posted photos of her gravesite to findagrave.com. She is buried in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park, GA, Lot 307A, Plot 2. The plaque reads:

Alice Joyce Harp
Aug. 6, 1917-July 17, 1966
Loved Mother, Adored Grandmother

I'm attaching one of the photos here, but you can download the others from findagrave.

Hi,

I wanted to thank you so much for the photo of Alice Joyce Tate Harp's headstone you posted. This was very kind of you to take this photo for us. I've looked for her for a while now and finally we have her final resting place. She was a twin so the family info was not complete until we found her. This was important to us.

There are so many good people involved in genealogy!!
Take care and god bless you,
