In your reference to George (Andrew) Downs, wife Jane E. Bowles. Geo Andrew, died 4-2-1945, in Jacksonville after being hit by a bus. George Downs and Jane married in 1918, and lived in Washington, DC. Both were born in Southern Maryland. They had twins born in Sep 1919, and died in Aug 1920 two weeks apart. James is still alive and living in New Bern, NC about to turn 90. Just spoke to him. Next was George Martin, my father, died 2005. Eddie was next;he lived in Clovis, CA. His wife still lives in Clovis; I spoke to her several days ago. Gladys was born 1934 and died 2001, in Blairsville, GA. Mamie was the youngest, died in 2000 and lived in Phoenix, AZ. So, I don't know if this is the same George Andrew Downs?? Which parent is yours?
