Seeking information on Frederick A. and Ann Pearson LEE of Logan County. Frederick was a Confederate veteran from TN who moved to AR around 1870. Both he and Ann were natives of TN. Frederick was an AR pensioner and was living in Logan County as late as 1914 when he was 75 years old. Seeking a death date and place of burial for Frederick. He showed his residence as Chismville and Boonville on his pension. There is no death certificate filed with the state.

At Springhill Cemetery, Ferguson Valley Road, Chismville, Logan County are a F. A. Lee 11-30-1840, 7-17-1925 and a Mrs F. A. Lee 5-7-1852, 9-19-1911.

F.A. and Ann E. (Pearson) (Siler) Lee were my g-gparents. Son George Charles Lee - my gfather. I have no info re the ancestry of F.A. Lee. What info do you have? Have some material on his descendants in both Yell and Logan Co. Ann Pearson first married Mr. Siler in Franklin Co. TN.

Looking for family that might have additional info.

My ancestor Esther Johnston, but legal and married name are Esther Johnson. Esther's marriage bondsman, and thus probably her family, which we are led to believe by other sources, was John Frederick Morgan. Esther was related to a highly thought of Daniel Morgan that we believe to be Gen Daniel Morgan of the Revolution, also due to other sources. Two daughters and one grandson of Esther intermarried with children/grandchildren of Chris Funkhouser/Margaret Young. One of Chris and Margaret's children was Young Funkhouser after her family and one child was named Lee Funkhouser, also probably after her family. Another child, Isaac Funkhouser married another Young, named Mary Polly Young, and had a grand child that married Andrew Jackson Lee, brother of a George W. Lee.

We have recorded in our family names every generation from Chris Funkhouser and Margaret Young to the present the name Lee, Robert Lee, Roberta, or Virginia Lee. There is also family stories stating that the Funkhouser's were cousin to a Col. Robert E. Lee, before he became the Civil War General. Much additional info exists suggesting that this is highly likely.

Have reason to believe that this John Frederick Morgan was related to a highly thought of Daniel Morgan, believed by us to possibly be Gen Daniel Morgan. John Frederick Morgan was bondsman in marriage of Esther Johnson to Zachariah Cross in Logan County, Ky in August 1790 or August 1792, depending on family claim of date or transcribed record of original that has not yet been verified on original.

Trying to find lineage of John Frederick Morgan, and his family relationship to this Daniel Morgan, whomever he is. Marriage of Esther Johnson and Zachariah Cross were in Logan County, Ky but marriage was recorded in Sumner County, Tenn where the Regional Court was.
