I have a William Smith of Spencer Co., IN as a GGgrandfather. His daughter Nancy (Belle)? born 1860 married Benjamin Neal 1 April, 1878 and died in 1892. My grandfather Walter Neal was one of their 7 children.

His name was taken from a census list but I have no further info on him. Would like to know if this could be your "Wully". Who was his wife and Nancy's mother?

Isham Smith was married 1840 so he probably was born in 1820-25. His father Wully was listed on the marriage lic of Isham Smith and Elizabeth Green in 1840. So Wully (his father)was born way.... back. I don't think the time period fits? This Smith line came from Ky. Isham Smith family descendants ended up in Benton and Pettis Co. Missouri. I know nothing about Wully except that his name was on the marriage lic listed as Isham's father. The name Wully I am told is another name for Walter? Maybe the line ties futher back? Where did your Smith's caome from? Good luck!

Daniel Andrew Criswell, live and owned land in Spencer Co. He is my G-G-Grandfather, and his son Marcus Criswell is my G-Grandfather, and he and his wife had 12 children. I have a copy of the marrige. I am working on the Smith Green family. They had one son Wiley Born in abt. 1845 in MO. But they were in Warrick Co. in 1850, Dubois Co. in 1860-1880. When looking for this family you need to look for Isom, Isem and Isham Smith. Would be glad to share any info.

I'm looking for information on Marcus Criswell's daughter, Meda. Her daughter, Roqua Gilstrap (from her first marriage) is my G-grandmother.

All I have on Meda Criswell is that she married Robert Gilstrap March 26,1901 and had three children, Igythi, Mildred and Roqua. I have Robert's line back to Peter Gilstrap Sr. MD ca 1726.

All I have on Robert Gilstrap is his father, Aaron Gilstrap (1834 - 1916). I'd be grateful for additional information.
