They lived in Ripley County near St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Would appreciate it if anyone could give me any information on these families.

I have small amount of info on Fritsch from St. Nicholas/Spades Station in Ripley Co. Lorentz Fritsch came over from Baden in 1832. Settled on farm near what is now Sunman. Married to a Rosina? Farm now in Riehle name. Rose

The 1950 Federal Census for Winneshiek County, Iowa, shows Conrad Riehle. born 1827(1828)in Baden-Baden, Germany. Two pieces of paper imply that he was living in Ripley County with his parents before he left for NE Iowa. Is there any connection here?

Ripley Co. IN Conrad Reihle could be a relation. Do those federal census sheets have the parents first names and ages?

I have some info on a Joseph Riehle b. 1858 in Morris, and immigrated to Marathon Co Wisconsin. He had 4 brothers, William, Andres, John and Felix, who also went with him.
The info I have is from the Centennial book about the Town of Rietbrock, Marathon Co. WI. If anyone is interested, let me know, and I will send to you.

As far as I know, I am not personally related to the Riehle surname. Apparently the Riehle family were friends of some of my ancestors.

My gg-grandfather was Felix Riehle who had a son named Conrad from whose line I have descended. Conrad settled in the state of Iowa (Winneshiek County) in 1850(51). I am searching for details on Felix Riehle and his brothers. Please let me hear from you in regard to the Wisconsin Riehle's. A Riehle family history book has been published, of which I have a copy.
