My wife is trying to collect enough info on her family so she can start a family tree. However, there is limited rescources which she or myself can tap. We know that her Great-grandfather's name was Forrest Perkins, and he married Julia Boothby. They had about nine children. Julia Boothby's parents were Irene Hayford, and Charles Boothby. I have a Forrest Perkins (b. abt 1901) whose father was from Ongunquit, Maine. We know Forrest had at least one other family besides the one from which we are descended. We know little about the other lineage, except that there was a son from his second wife's previous marriage named William or "Bill." Family stories indicate that Forrest adopted William and later, William's 4 children.

Hello, I am seeking information about the family of a Forrest Perkins from the Dover, NH. area. His parents were Thomas and Mary Perkins; his grandparents were James and Susan Perkins. James was born abt. 1801, Thomas abt. 1834, Forrest abt. 1857. James may have been from Maine. The family had close ties with Rochester & Dover, NH. All 3 of these men are buried in Dover.
