Burial Information

I'm looking for the place and date of burial for Idocia Blankenship Campbell who was born in 1874. I'm also hunting for her husband Woods Sherman Campbell who died in 1948 in Titus County. I found them in the 1920 Titus County census but can't find them after that. Thanks for any help.

I am not related to this family, but I found Idocia and Woods S. Campbell buried in the Nevill's Chapel Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas

Idocia Campbell was born May 25, 1874 and died January 8, 1948
Woods S. Campbell was born March 30, 1874 and died November 12, 1948

Nevill's Chapel Cemetery is located 2.5 miles North of Mt. Pleasant and adjacent to the Baptist Church bearing the name Nevill's Chapel.

Thank you so much for the information. You have provided me with a lot. I appreciate it especially since this isn't your family.

I am not related to this family either, but is this who you are looking for? They are enumerated as CAMEL instead of CAMPBELL.

Have you tried Cortzness-Shepherd Searcy, Old West City Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, TX?

I recently found three of my Great Great Grandmothers brothers burried there. All of them were born in Upshur County and pretty much stayed in the area. Even two that had moved to Harrison County, Marshall, Texas were bought back to Mt. Pleasant for burial there.

The site has quite a bit of information, even transcribed information from the headstones. Good luck with your search.

I'm not sure if you are still looking for this information, but I found both individuals recorded as being laid to rest in Nevills Chapel Cemetery in Mt Pleasant. I found this information on www.findagrave.com. Try the below links, if you have trouble finding it please let me know. Hope this helps!
