I am looking for information on Alanson ADAMS and his brother, Gardner ADAMS. Alanson was born 1 Apr 1792. He married Submit (Mittie) HALL 29 Jan 1818 at Williston, Chittenden Co., VT. Submit was born 28 Mar 1791 at Walpole, Cheshire Co., NH. Alanson and Submit moved to WI and lived and died at Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac Co., WI in the 1870s and 1880s.

Gardner and Alanson served in the War of 1812 together. Their father was Joseph Adams, who was living in Williston, VT in 1810 and in Duxbury in 1818-1820. Any help on this ADAMS line will be appreciated.

The only information I have on Alanson Adams is a deed dated 8 Feb 1844 between Alanson Adams of Collins of the County of Erie State of New York of the first part and William Bixby of Nunda of the County of Allegany and State of New York of the second part. The deed is for land purchased by Wm. Bixby, my gg grandfather, the property being in the village of Nunda, NY. In your Adams research have you run into a Phebe Adams or Lovina Adams, both maiden names of my g grandmother and gg grandmother.
