There is one Joseph DURHAM listed in the 1800 Colleton Census with 2 yng males under the age of 10 yrs -- one of which could possibily be my Seth DURHAM. Anyone have information on this DURHAM family? I did not see him listed in the 1810 S.C. index. Where did he go? My Seth DURHAM says he was born in S.C. in 1799; he was married abt 1820 and listed in the Bulloch Co, GA census (just down the coastline). There are no other DURHAMS near him in GA, and the nearest family I can find in S.C. is this Joseph in Colleton in 1800. Will gladly share research. Any help will be appreciated.

William, I am sorry I don't have any data that will help you with your search. My own is limited to what I know about my Seth DURHAM, b 1799, S.C., but who lived in Georgia. The nearest DURHAM in S.C. to where my Seth lived in Georgia was the Joseph in Colleton Dist, S.C. Here's hoping some descendant of this Joseph has information that will aid my search.
