I do need help with our family and hope you will be so kind and help us. Believe our Patrick Welsh (sp?) md.about 1850 -54 to Mary Ann Preston Cronin. Her sister Brdget Preston md. John Daley (sp?) in 1851, maybe Weedsport, N. Y. Believe both families moved to Wisconsin by 1860's. Both had children in N.Y. Thanks for your kind help.

I'm interested in a death notice for George Bockhoven CHATHAM, died 09 Oct 1925.

He died in Holmen, Lacrosse, WI, but was born in Seneca, NY.

Thank you.

Hi, sorry but the book by Mary & Edward Jackson that spans 1817-1885 is very incomplete. I did not find any of those names.

Thanks for offering to do look-ups.

Does the book list any Stevensons/Stephensons in the Hector, Ulysses, Enfield, Mecklenburg, McIntyre Settlement, Trumansburg area? This was part of Seneca County in the early 1800s.

Hi, most of the book is later. However, I did see a death notice for a James Stevenson, age 79 years in Tyre, Ny, Sept. 30, 1850, came from Ireland in 1798 and to Seneca County in 1812. Also a death notice for Martha Stevenson age 83 in Tyre, NY, July 17, 1858, son James of Waterloo, NY. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for checking. That was kind of you.

I don't think the Tyre, NY, Stevensons were connected to my Stevensons, who came to Hector/Ulysses about 1805 from Fort Ann, Washington County, NY.
