How do i export my my family tree from ancestry.co.uk to the Family tree maker? I cant seem to find out how to make a gedcom file on ancestry.co.u to transfer it over!!

Click on the Family Trees tab drop down list(2nd left on top ribbon) and at the bottom you click on upload a Gedcom. I haven't done it and haven't got FTM so can't help further.

Sorry John I gave wrong advice in post before - it was for UPLOADING a gedcom you already have on your computer.
Do this to find the link for advice on Exporting (and importing) Gedcoms:

Click on Help at top right hand side.
Enter 'Gedcom' into Key Word Search Box

Quite a few articles come up which should help.
