I am trying to get some information on my g grandfather and g grandmother and maybe even their parents.
Details: Victor MORIN born maybe in Mauritius in 1833 died in Mauritius 1902.
Married Marie Leoncine GEBERT. They went to live in Seychelles.
Her parents names were Adolphe GEBERT, mothers name Seraphine ESCOFFIER. I don't know if they had any other children or if Victor had any other brothers/sisters.
I believe Victor fathers name was August, his mother I do not know anything about.

I have just read your message & I would like to know if you have been successful in your research because I am myself trying to have the Gebert family tree in Mauritius for my maiden name is Gebert My father's name was Eugene who married Edith Wilson. My grandfather's name was Gaston and his father was James.I was born in Mauritius. I am now living in Australia, I am married with Herve Ducasse, I have 3 daughters and one son and also I have 6 grand children.

I am still waiting from an answer.

Got you on my message board. I have no Gebert on my tree. By accident in a lift I met a Walter-Girout/ Pierrus. We got together and contacted family members known of or living in the Durban and Cape area of South Africa. I have put a lot of that family together which includes some Pierrus which is my family but I have yet to find the Person connect in the tree. Most came to Durban forf the Sugar Plantations and Mills. If I find anything I will let you know.Teresa
