Greetings! Just a couple of quick comments I would like to see from this board.

1) If you are posting informaiton that doesn't contain the name Shurtliff or Shurleff, please indicate how they are related to the Shurtliff family. Personally, I think that if the post doesn't reflect information on a descendant of the Shurtliff/leff family, it should be posted elsewhere.

2) We need more people posting information.

3) I'm in the process of updating (to the computer) the information contained in the book "Descendants of Luman Andros Shurtliff" and would appreciate people contacting me with updates for the website. A lot of scanned photos to come as well.

I have the book Luman Andros Shurtleff and also the 2 vol set of Descendants of William shurtleff 1976 Revised Edition. I live in the SLC, Utah area. I don't know how to reach Roger to answer a question. I am collecting into a cleaned up gedcom file.

My question - Looking for grandparents of Luman Andros, Jonathan Shurtleff and Abigail Lord (b 1744 Conn). Looking for sources for her parents. Could be William Lord and Tabitha Porter or Ichabod Lord and Patience Bulkeley. Wanting to document which ones.

My records show Abigail Lord's parents were Ichabod Lord and Patience Bulkeley

I am a Shurtliff. My grandfather carries the last name Shurtliff. I don't know about Luman Andros Shurtliff but my Grandfather is Dr. Lyman Folkman Shurtliff. He was born in Blanding, Utah. 1925 I believe. Don't know if that helps but at least you know of one more Shurtliff line now.

In the geneology book that my aunt made me in July 2007. I loose all information after Luman. But this is what I have down to me.
