searching for info re: families of Phillippe Boudemont from Rhorbach, Ger. and descendant lines. I have some facts to share and update. Have found, recently, many errors that could be fixed by E-mail.

I am not a descendant of Phillippe Boudemont but have an ancestor who came to America about the same time as Andras and his brother. My ancestor was first recorded as Claude Bouteman and within 5 years became Claude Boatman the surname that has been carried down to today in PA.

I think that this (my) Huguenot family may share a common ancestry with yours in Northern France. I have seen the records of Phillippe's family in Rohrbach. Can you tell me anything about Phillippe's descendants in America? Are the Boudeman family of the North Branch of the Susquehanna River their descendants?
