I'm not too lazy, but I only have limited vacation time to do my research and Wheeling is soooo far up there...

I just learned that somewhere between the latter part of 1867 and 1870, my great-great grandfather eloped to Wheeling (Ohio County).

If someone is looking through the marriage records and if they happen to see where Lafayette Fincham married Jane Adeline Wiseman both of Harrison County, I'd really really appreciate it, if you'd share the wedding date with me.

The marriage date, 25 Dec 1866, is for Elizabeth WISEMAN, not Jane Adeline WISEMAN. They were both married to Lafayette FINCHAM, but they are sisters, born six years apart - Elizabeth in 1844, and Jane in 1849-1850. These girls were both daughters of Harrison WISEMAN and Polly CONSTABLE.
Thought I'd clear that up - could not find a death date for Elizabeth, but did find one for Jane Adeline WISEMAN FINCHAM in 1938.
