I was recently told by an old cousin that my great grandfather, Frank Decker left for Salmon, Lemhi County, Idaho after his wife died here in Illinois in 1894. He eventually becam a Justice of the Peace in Idaho and managed a sheep ranch in Salmon for a lady by the name of Yearian. He did not return to Illinois until he was an old man. Would any one have any record of Frank?
Thank you

I am unable to locate any information about Frank Decker. The woman he worked for though, I belive was a woman named Emma Yearian, she was a woman ahead of her time, and owned and operated a large sheep ranch here in Lemhi County during the time Frank was here. Do you have anymore information regarding Frank? If so, let us know and we will see if we can find out anything more for you.

Debbie, good to hear from you. I have quite a lot of information on Herman Decker and Elizabeth Lanemann. We got the church records from Germany on the Lanemanns. We are going to Idaho and Montanta in August to see what we can find out there. Let me know what info you need. I need to take the time to update my data in my genealogy program and then I can send you the GEDCOM files if you like.

I forgot to tell you that I live about 30 miles from Chester. The Adolph Decker reunion is next Saturday at St. Johns School Auditorium. I am not sure if you live close enough to be there. My Uncle Earl Decker passed away last Sunday in Denver, CO and we are having a Memorial Service for him in the morning.
