Known as Horace or Horase. He emigrated to Canada in 1913 at the age of 17. He joined the Canadian over seas Expeditionary Force in 1917. Regiment number 514621.
He crossed the border from Canada to Detroit in 1919.
He was granted registry in 1945 at 401 S/E 19th Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.
He died in Highlands County, Florida USA in 1982 leaving a wife and grown up children.
Horace was my grandfathers brother and even though my grandfather tried to contact him several times during his life time he was never successful.
The Richardson family from England would love to be able to
find out more about him and perhaps contact his family in order to swap information and complete our family tree.

His grave is pictured on findagrave.com along w/ his wife Fay J Richardson, 1911-10 Aug 2000.( Oak Hill Cemetery- Highlands County) It is listed as Horace V Richardson.Looks like she died in Ocala, Florida. Do not know if she had family there or was at the Florida Hospital.
If it were me? I would request a death certificate ( for Fay) from The State of Florida,$5.00 and takes a couple of weeks. It might have an informat that is kin or can relay information. Pass that, the cemetery might have information. Sometimes better than an obit.

Thank you so much for the reply on Horace Victor Richardson. I am thrilled with all the information you have given me and it now seems from the latest post that Horace's daughter is willing to speak to me on the telephone
but as it will be 10 o'clock at night in Florida now I am going to have to wait until tomorrow which I am going to find very hard to do as I am so excited.
