Hi,

I am researching ATKINs in Burton on Trent. My g grandfather Arthur ATKIN was born there in 1859. His parents Edward ATKIN (b 1832) and Elina YATES (b 1833) were both from Burton.

Arthur had brothers Henry, James and Edward, and a sister Clara.

It would be great to hear from anyone researching the same family.

My g.grandfather David Atkin hails from Leigh,Uttoxeter;b.1829 in Doveridge,Derbys;a tailor and then tailor and farmer.In the main the family was/is still linked to farming/agric.type work.
Dovridge/Leigh are close to Burton.
Could they have been brothers?
