John;
I know it has been two years since you posted this but the parents of Lynville Barton were Frank Barton and Ida May Terrell from Knox County Kentucky, Frank must have died soon after the 1900 Whitman County census. The siblings I have listed for Lynville are Frank Barton, James Barton, Dudley Barton and Burley Barton. I have no further information on Frank SR at this point other then to say he was likely born in Kentucky and with my grandfather Emby L Hart and a group of 14 Kentucky famlies that came to Rosalia by train over the Monon route March 8, 1898.
On Ida May Terrell; I have more information. She was my gramdmother's first cousin and was born March 16, 1879 in Kentucky to Henry Gilbert Terrell; born July 24, 1840 in Knox County KY-January 03, 1916 ;Rockhold, Whitley CO, KY and Julia Ann Mackey March 16, 1844- August 21, 1885 Knox CO KY. They are burried in Mackey Cem, Flat Creek, Knox CO, KY.
I have Ida May married to Hans Jason but that information may be incorrect if you say he was your granfather. After Frank died Ida married John Prentice Crites from Wisconsin that was first married to Mary Meuli daughter of Nicholas. Meuli and Cecelia Burga. Most of these people incluing Ida, John and some of the Meuli family are burried in Rosalia IOOF Evergreen Cemetery, Whitman CO Washington.
I hope you get this message and please feel free to contact me if you would like more information on your family.

I live near Rosalia and am related to Lynville Barton through the Terrell line. I heard of the same relationships you listed but would appreciate clarification about Ida Terrell's 2nd husband's name.

Julie:
If you are through the Terrell family then we are cousins of some sort.
I am sorry but I do not have any new information on Hans Jason. Possable I may have just found some of the Crites family in just the last few days. Hopefuly they will be from the same family and if they are then perhaps they will have more information on Ida May's husbands. I will share any new information with you if I get any. I see you were asking about the Painter family from Idaho as well. Ida May Terrell brother was Robert Ranson Terrell. One of his daughters was Delores "Jeanne" Terrell.
She was first married to Vance Darling then to James Painter in Lewiston ID. Jim and Jean Painter lived near Cheney. We used to go visit them a lot and for a short time my sister lived with them and worked for them.
Please feel free to contact me directly and I can send you some of my Terrell and MacKey files.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, we are related. All these years, we had Jessen spelled wrong. No wonder we couldn't find you!

I would like to clarify that Burley Barton was Lynville Barton's son, not his brother.
Burley was my father and Lynville was my grandfather.
