Olive King, 78, of 386
Laurel St., Ashland, who died Thursday will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mountain View Cemetery in
Ashland. Elder Daryl
Ochs of the
Ashland Seventh-day Adventist Church will officiate. Committal will be in Mt. View Cemetery with Conger-Morris Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Mrs. King was born April 26, 1895, in Little
Falls, Minn., the daughter of the late Peter VanCurler. On Aug. 15, 1915, in Lewistown,
Mont., she married Charles R. King, who died in 1967. Mrs. King had lived in the Rogue Valley since 1926 and in
Ashland since 1945. While living in
Ashland, she was a member of the
Ashland Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. June
Stevenson, Central Point; two sons, Daniel P. King,
Eagle Point, and Albert T. King, Ashland; one brother,
Delvin VanCurler, Ashland; two sisters, Effie
LaBlanc and Esabelle
Lobb, both of Seattle, Wash., nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. The body will lie in state this evening until 8:30 o'clock at the
