Hey, I finally looked for the info you wanted. Buried in the Hazel Cem. are:
Feriba J. Brown, wife of T. B., b- 27 May 1846 d- 25 Jan. 1909
Thomas
Burton Brown b- 27 Dec. 1845 d- 10 Nov. 1923 (no stone) (I am typing his name in like it is listed in the cem. book above. Because I know you have him listed as Thomas
Benton.)
Lalla (
Acree) Brown, wife of W. K. Brown, dau. of Edward & Mattie
Acree,
Lalla b- 23 Oct. 1877 d- 10 March 1912
I assume since she was buried there with them that she was a dau.-in-law.
These were the only Brown's buried in the Hazel cem.
Also found:
Edward (E. C.?) Acree b- 5 May 1846 d- 2 Sept. 1901
Mattie (
Marberry)
Acree, dau. of Marian
Nance & Frank
Marberry, Mattie b- 2 Dec. 1859 d- 8 Oct. 1919
I couldn't find any info showing that Mattie was born in
Calloway Co.
I have found no other info on W.K. Brown either. Cannot find him buried in
Calloway Co. Didn't find him listed in any census' either.
1900
Calloway Co., Ky. census I found this:
Thomas B. Brown age 54 head Dec. 1845 m26
Ky. S.C. S.C.
Heriba Y. age 53 wife Nov. 1846 m26 3-3 Tn. Tn. Tn.
Mary T. Brown age 19 dau. Aug. 1880 single Tn. Ky. Tn.
Also found Ed F. Acre and wife Mary M. I think this was possibly Edward and Mattie (don't know for sure.)
It shows that Ed & Mary had 9 children with 8 still living at home and one had died.If you want me to send that census info to you let me know. This will give you a little more to work with maybe. Kelly
