hi my mum died last year she told us she was to adopted she did not want to belive it but towards the end of her lif she wanted to find the truth. the problem we keep getting is that we are not able to obtain a bith cirtificate in her name she was born on 17/11/1941 in yeovil in somerset england her parents that we know of where besssie hooper born 1900 died 1999 known by marrige as lock to Robert henry ernset lock born 1900 died in 1976 they had a daughter joan lock born 1935 died 1997 and a son norman lock born 1937 died 1959 we would like to know if any one out there can remember any one to the description please contact on 07749105507

Hi have you been to FRC Family REcords Centre, you should be able to find her adoption certificate there, because you have her adoptive name. Then you can get that and ask for her original birth certificate, although I would think that its highly unlikely that her natural parents are alive, you may find other siblings. Good luck. Sharon
