My Grandfather, Sandor Adolf DOBAK [b:19Apr1872 Beszterczebanya, Hungary (now Banska Bystrica, Slovakia)], emigrated to Pittsburgh, PA, USA in 1903. His wife, Ilona PERCZIAN DOBAK followed later with three sons, Sandor, Laszlo and Imre. Is this the family you are searching for?

I am very sorry for very late reply. I've found a family tree of Dobak family from Banska Bystrica (magyar. Beszterczebanya) - created by you, but only o few first members are named "de Szent Anna" which means they came from Szent Anna, now Liptovska Anna. But no direct connection to family I am looking for. The oldest man I've found is Jan DOBAK who married Eva Mostiss, before year of 1783. Their chidren were Ondrej, Maria, Katarina, Elias and Suzanna.

OK, I bit more specific. Dobák family comes from the village of Szent Anna, now known as Liptovska Anna (Slovakia).
I am looking for information about life of RUZENA DOBAK, born in 1912, Newark, NJ between the years 1920 (from Census) and 1979. Ruzena was married to Dominic BARISCIANO probably during WWII in 1944, but I don't have it confirmed. With the help (by robaris) I found their grave at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NJ. I could not find it in the 1930 Census and therefore have difficulty in finding in the 1940 Census.
My search in the USA was stopped on the person BERTALAN DOBAK (aka Ben / Bennie / Bernard?) Born in 1903 in Szent Anna, who lives by 1920 Census in Hillsborough, Somerset, NJ, but then I had completely lost him.
Their sister ELEANOR DOBAK (aka Lenora / Ellen /?) Born in 1907, she married George SEEPER. Probably had a son. But then I lost her. Probably died in 2001 (according to SSDI) in Staten Island, Richmond, NY.
Finally, their father Adolph Dobák, who tragically died in 1917 in Newark, NJ. I am looking for details about this event, or where he was buried (if he was).
I found a family of Peter (Paul) DOBAK (1876-1967) also born in Szent Anna, but my family relationship is not known clenched. (by sheilavillalobos).
Thank you for answers and help.
