Looking for information on the descendants of Asbery (Asberry or Asbury) Evans and Cornelia Brown. They would have moved to Texas from Alabama by 1873. They are in the 1880 census, and the 7 year old son is show as being born in Texas. Unfortunately the 1880 census only lists initials: sons R.L (born about 1871) and J.A. born about 1873; daughters M.E. (born about 1874), MAA. born about 1877) and S.F. (born in 1880... 4 months old at time of census). In the 1900 census it states that the wife (Cornelia) had 11 children, 8 of whom were still living. The only children listed are Mollie (daughter, born June 1876... but is this MAA. or M. E.?); Bosse (son, born Sept. 1883); Lou (daughter, born Aug 1885); Dock (son, born Mar 1888); Herman (son, born Dec 1890) and Thad (son born March 1894). Dock was a nickname, the real initial's being F.P. I found Asbery, Cornelia, Dock and his wife and possibly 2 children buried in Center Grove Cemetery. It appears there may be no date on the stones of Asberry and Cornelia. There's a stone for F.P Evans, Jr. 1916-1917; Stones for F.P. Dock Evans 1886-1941 and Vera Smith Evans 1895-1973; and Mary Katherine Evans - 1923-1924.

I have information on Asberry's ancestors and would like to more about his descendants.

I do not have any information on Blinda Evans or Cyrus Wright. I have not been able to trace all the children of Asberry and Cornelia--- R.L., J.A., Mollie, MAA., Bosse.
I do have some information on Mary E., Sarah Francis, Lou Icie, F.P. (Dock), Herman, and Thadeus Evans.

The Wright's descendants I have are from Walter NMI Wright, born 1877 Titus Texas.

I don't currently have my genealogy on this computer, but I do have a bit about Asberry's brother Warwick and some of his descendants. Do you have any information on the other brother, David (married to Phoebe or Phebe?). There is also another related Evans family in Texas. I believe it was Calvin (married to Mamie Stringer). I have been looking proof of his parents, who we think are David and Phebe (nee Fawcett or Faucett). I will have more time to get in touch with you later in June.

Cornelia Brown Evan's also listed died 5 Feb 1933 is buried in Center Grove Cemetery, who was residing with son Herman Asbury Evans born 31 Dec 1890 per his WW I Draft card, in 1930 census.

I'm also seeking information on Asbury/Asberry Evans who resided in Titus County from about 1880 until his death after 1910. According to Census records he was born on March Abt 1846 in Georgia. He is buried with his wife Cornelia in the Center Grove Cemetery, Titus. There is no birth or death on his headstone.

Asbury/Asberry is recorded with his family on the 1910 Census. On the 1920 census his wife Cornelia is residing with her son Herman and there is no record of Asbury/Asberry.

I'm specifically seeking birth and death information on Asberry to obtain a death certificate. I would be interested in any available information.
