Galician census records

I am inquiring about the current location of Galician census records. I read online that census' were taken in Galicia in the years 1857, 1869, 1880, 1890, 1900 and 1910. None have been microfilmed by the Latter-Day Saints as far as I can tell. I have written to several archives in Poland including those in Krakow, Tarnow and Rzeszow and they responded that they do not have them. I am going to Poland in May and I would like to go to the places where these records are found and obtain copies of the records that have information on my ancestors, if possible. My ancestors lived in fairly small villages near Tarnow, Rzeszow, and Gorlice. Perhaps the census records are located in municipalities closer to where my ancestors lived, but I doubt they would be located in the villages themselves, as the villages are so small. I would appreciate any information that anyone might have regarding the current location of the census records of Galicia. The villages in which my ancestors lived were Biadoliny Szlacheckie and Niedomice (near Tarnow), Lipinki and Rozdziele (near Gorlice), and Mrowla (near Rzeszow).

As best as I can remember, the census records are held in the Austrian archives, Galicia being an Austrian province during that time period.

Let me root around a bit to see what I can come up with.

I've found a number of references that all lead back to feefhs.org, but unfortunately the links are broken.

Gayle Schlissel Riley seems to have written articles on the Austrian census of Galicia and the articles are pointed to by both the Galizien German Descendandts Society (a broken link to the index of past newsletter articles) and Jewishgen.org (pointing back to the broken link at FEEFHS).

I too am interested in such records. I am interested in the village of Klimkowka near Rzerzow (spelling?) My relatives living there say the Germans or Russians burned all the records and whatever is available is in the Church.

That is all I know and I'm not sure that is all the story.
