Looking for relatives of an Anton Berg (b.Aug 1878) in Norway (Otta area). Anton came to the US probably in the mid to late 1890s. He's listed in the 1900 US census living with his cousin, Iver S. Berg (b.1862), in Tracy, MN. The census lists no middle initial for Anton so I'm uncertain of his father's name or if Anton was a 1st cousin or more distant. His father could possibly be Peder or even Paul. I know that Peder left Norway sometime after 1865 but Peder was born in 1808 so it's most likely not his son. Paul (b.1850) also came to the US and I have a rough note that he died in MN. Paul would have been Iver S. Berg's uncle. I have no info on who Paul's wife is if he in fact had any children.

All of their surnames while living in Norway were BERGUM or Bollongen depending on who Anton's father was.

This makes me think this is the correct family, just need to connect and find Jacob and Syver's births and census records from here to confirm.

there doesn't seem to be a book available for the brother Syver's birth year. Peder may be an uncle? There are records for that time frame but they are more difficult to read.
