Delmer A. Mohr
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 3, at 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at F. D. Sweet and Son Mortuary, 825 A St., Orland for Delmer A. Mohr, 91, who passed away September 30, in
Chico. Graveside services will be Monday, October 4, at 11 a.m. at Oddfellows Gazebo,
Orland.
Delmer was born June 17, 1913 in Modesto, to
Archie and Geneva
Mohr. He owned and operated Empire Cleaners in
Santa Rosa, for over forty years. He was a resident of
Orland since 1992, moving here from
Santa Rosa where he was a long time resident.
Delmar was a proud member of the
Santa Rosa Druids, Optimist Club and
Moose Lodge. He was also a member of the
California Dry Cleaners Association. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean War.
Delmer is survived by his daughters, Coralee
Stockton and
Husband Mike, of Laytonville, Lynn
Swisher, of Red Bluff, and Marilyn
Cooper and husband Darrel of
Wyoming, a step-son
Al Province, of
Willows, his grandchildren, Samantha, Bradley and wife Diane, Darrel, Jr., Noel, Carolee, Kim and numerous great grandchildren. Delmer was preceded in death by his wife Sherma in July 1971.
