Seeking info on Calderwood Mason, born abt 1790 with unsourced info stating his death was in Greene County, MS.

Caldwerwood Mason married Sally Lott in the early 1800's in Mobile County, AL. With a MS Land Record of Clarke County, MS Sect 33, Twp 3-N Range 14-E dated 6/5/1841.

Looking forward to hear from anyone with info on Calderwood Mason and/or his connection to the Brannans.

My grandfather was Ira Keith Brannan, son of Ira Martin Brannan, grandson of Henry Brannan (b. 1811 in SC d. Jan. 22,1896 likely in Greene Co., MS). According to friend who is a descendant of Calderwood Mason, his son John Mason married Sarah Brannan, daughter of William Brannan and Anna Malone. It is his opinion that William Brannan and that my ancestor Henry Brannan were sons of a Thomas Brannan of SC.

I'm a descendant of Calderwood Mason through his son John Mason & wife Sarah Brannan. Sarah Brannan's family was from Greene Co., MS. I don't have any info at hand regarding Calderwood's death in Greene Co., MS, but just came across the cemetery record for his second wife, Sarah Sumrall, who is buried near their daughter Elizabeth Mason Bounds in the Buttram family cemetery in Lamar Co., MS. I'd be happy to share any other info I have on this line.
