Does anybody know where I can find a picture of this ship online? It's misspelled on ancestry as Chusan but I believe it is Chrisan. It carried 162 passengers and arrived on 5/5/1847

Ancestry now correctly identifies this voyage as sailed on the ship "Chrisan".

The name of Chrisan is also verified at the National Archives' web-site under:

List of Ships that Arrived at the Port of New York During the Irish Famine, 1/12/1846 - 12/31/1851

Couldn't find anything on-line about it. The ship name is mentioned at Cimmorelli's list of ships however web page indicated they had no picture nor ship biography available.

You might want to email The Library of Congress or since the ship hailed from Great Britain, contact a maritime museum there via email. Hopefully they can give you some leads.
