According to a newspaper article in the Norfolk weekly news journal of Oct 8, 1909 Rev. F.M.Deweese (I think Francis) took in an orphan named Janette Benham age 9 who had come on the Orphan Train from New York. So she should be on the 1910 census with the Rev. Does anyone have access to this census?
Thanks for any help

On behalf of the Lied Pierce Public Library Genealogy Help Group we are able to supply the following information.

According to the 1910 Plainview, Pierce County Nebraska Census Francis M Deweese and Stella L Deweese resided in Plainview. Francis listed as retired clergyman. There is no listing of anyone else living with them. In 1920 Francis and Stella resided in Pasadena California. Sorry we are unable to assist you with any other additional items.

Thanks once again for your help. Strange that Jeanette is not with them. I guess things didn't work out with the placement. No record of Archie or Jeanette in 1910 although I know that Archie stayed in Nebraska.
