Above marriage found in card file at the Morley Library in Painesville, OH on Feb. 22, 2002.

Rev. C. S. Thomas was my GG-GF,Rev. Calvin S. Thomas.
His brother was William B. Thomas married to Pheobe Lyon.
Phoebe was sister to my GG-GM, Marietta Harriet Lyon Thomas.
They were from Steuben County, NY.

Nancy Thomas ADAMS would have been the daughter of Phoebe and William Thomas.
A double cousin to my G-GM, Emma V. Thomas Ransom.

I would be interested in descendant information or others researching these families.

Sandi, I am not sure, but I believe my husband may be related to your Adams connection. still trying to figure this clan out. Thompson is in Geauga co. and My husbands family is from there and the surrounding area.(I.E. Leroy, Painesville, Madison,Geneva ,Ashtabula, ) His Grandparents are Vern Brainard Adams , And Florence Irene (Barnum) Adams. Any Help appreciated. -melissa

I posted most of what I know.
My family is connected to Nancy Thomas Adams through both her mother(Phoebe Lyon) and father(William Thomas).

John + Nancy Adams are buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Madison,Lake Co.
I think that my sister located an obit for John Q. Adams.
I believe that he was a Civil War veteran.
If I can locate the obit, I will post a transcription with this message thread.

My husband is the grandson of Ivah Adams (daughter of John Quincy Adams II and Alice Abbey). John Quincy II was the son of John Quincy Adams and Nancy Thomas. Ivah was born 9 Dec 1905 in Madison, Lake County, Ohio, she married Roy Gieseler, and 2 Apr 1978 in Bradenton, Florida. Her brother was John Quincy III. He was born 4 Jul 1908 and died 7 Jun 1982 in Deland, Florida. His spouse was Hazel Adams. I can share more.
