Is there anyone who could find a newspaper obituary in Pauls Valley regarding the death of Edna May NEAL daughter of William G. and Maude Emily (Knight)NEAL Edna died 13 Oct 1921.She was the sister of my father James Edward NEAL who was born 25 Dec 1900 in Pauls Valley. The NEAL family also had ties with Maysvill and Wynnwood OK. Also family ties to the JARMANS, long time residents of Pauls Valley.
I would also like to know who was Sherd NEAL who died in 1976 at Pauls Valley? Was he the son of Sherd (Sherod) NEAL? Thanks, Carol Staats

Sherd is my grandfather. He is Sherd Allie Neal born 23 JAN 1896 in Durant, OK and died 5 JAN 1976 in Pauls Valley, OK. He was the son of William Thomas Neal, grandson of Sherod William Neal

Just found these postings regarding Sherod, Isaiah and Jesse Neal. I too am a descendent of Isaiah and Elizabeth Neal of Wayne Co KY and AR. I descend from Isaiah Neal through his son Geo. Washington Neal and his son William Griffen Neal and his son James Edward Neal my father. I wish I had more information on Isaiah and Elizabeth. I can't seem to find them in any marriage record in KY. Maybe they were married in TN? Anyway just wanted to say hello to the cousins ourt there. I have some information on his family. He was married twice and had 8 children by his 1st wife and 7 children by his 2nd wife, I believe. I am travelling on business currently and will send you the information when I get back home. I also have some on his siblings and parents but not a lot.

These are the descendants of Isaiah and Elizabeth Neal. If nothing else those Neal boys knew how to make large families!! My great grandfather George W Neal also raised a total of 6 step-children between two wives. George and the two wives, Margaret and Justina had between them 21 children. I believe Sherrod and his wives Mary and Minnie had 17 children. Where do you fit in?
