Does anyone know how to make a couple that never married show up? I have added the other person in spouse but they never married

Well they should both be showing up.

To show the proper status, click on the Marriage button then select the "Not Married" Status.

where is the marriage button. I haven't marked them as married so I don't see a marriage button to set status to not married

The button is rather obvious. It's in-between the two people's names on the display. The program defaults to marking two people as married when you add a "marriage" but you can use a drop-down list to change that.

Apologies! I must be being a bit dim here but I can't find any button and don't understand the last post about editing and merging.

I have FTM 2006 ... is there a button to edit the marriage status on that version? I have searched and searched with no success.

This is the AFT board, not the FTM one.

What display are you talking about? I have the same question and it does pertain to the AFT. I have a family member who is not married and both of them have had two children together.
