I have book re this subject, seems to cover all the early settlers from 1770's to abt 1880. I have particular interest in the Killam line and have pics of the old homestead as well

HI Nick,
I have Killam's and Kimbles, that married into my Gumble and Singer families.

Here is the link to my tree. Any info in your book on Gumbles and Singers by chance? I am a grandaughter of the Gumbles, and great grandaughter of the Singers of Pike Co.
Thanks
Erin

Not sure abt those surnames, but will look. Think I have found problems in your version of the Kimble line. I will get back to you.

Please give me more info on the Killam book you have plus which Killam homestead do you have a picture of? I am related to at least nine of the original settlers and grew up in Paupack but am not a direct descendant of any Killam although there are tons of them in my tree.

The book is not specifically the Killams but the original sttlers families...among others Pellett, Kimble, Ansley, Woodward, Bingham, Bennett. The pic is not really the very original homestead i suppose...It was the home of Benjamin Franklin Killam, my gggrandfather.

The B.F. Killam home you have a pic of is probably the home I grew up in. It was built by John Pellett and the Calvin Pellett estate sold it to B.F. Killam in about 1875. He owed the property for about 47 years. I am verouy curious about the photo and would love to see it if you would be kind enough to share it with me. What is the name of your manuscript/book?

Nick,

I read your message on how you have some information on the Killam family from the Lake Wallenpaupack area. I am a Great Great Grand-daughter of Mark and Hannah Killam. They are buried in the Lakeville United Methodist Church cemetery. I went there a few years ago. I have a lot of information on the Killams from that area. I would love to share information with you. I am also missing information. Email me at heidi@usavoipteam.com I have a few pictures, that I can send you copies of by email or by mail let me know.

Thanks

Erin,

I also have some Killam information in my family and I would love to share the information with you. Email me at heidi@usavoipteam.com Would you mind sharing the information that you have. This Killam line has been one hard one for me because there are a lot of Mark's in the family. I can send you the information I have not put it on my website as of yet, and there is a lot of information.

Thanks,

Heidi Ruefenacht

Out of curiosity, what is the name of this book? Was it generall published at all, or was it ust a simple collection for historical sake?

In any case, I'd love any information the book has on the Pellet families. Vital records in that area are scarce in the libraries, and anything would help to solidify this family line.
