I am looking for any information on William Marvin Smith Sr. He was married twice. His second wife was Leona Reeves and they had at least 4 children. He had at least one son, William Marvin Smith Jr by his first wife. I would like to know any information, marriage and burial for William Marvin Smith and his wives. William Marvin Smith Sr. was born February 2, 1898 possibly in Dallas County,Tx. At his death in June 1974 he was living in Sweetwater, Nolan County,TX.

2) As of this year (2000), Maurice Ray Smith was still living in Texas.

3) Are your sure of the birth (1898) and death (1974) dates for your William Maurice Smith? The SSDI cites "Marvin Smith" with those dates, which compared to Texas death index is "Marvin S. Smith"

4) Texas death index shows two "Marvin William Smith" entries and five "William Marvin Smith" entries.
