Jesse Bounds came to Tennessee in 1796 and had 10 children - John, Joseph, James, Thomas, Obediah, Jesse, Jr., Nancy Ann, Francis Bird, Elizabeth (Betsy) and Eleanor (Nelly). I am interested in any information connected to the Bounds families.

Samuel Julian was from Rutherford Co., NC - came through TN and KY and settled in Indiana. I would like to be able to identify his father.

Aaron Armstrong married Betsy (Elizabeth) Bounds (April 17,1802-Dec. 3, 1864) in Knoxville on Aug. 12, 1819. Aaron is my ggggrandfather, I don't know much about Bounds but this could be the Betsy you mentioned.

My husband's great-grandfather was a Thomas Bounds married to a Molley Smith and lived in Panola,Tx. His son William Nicklison Bounds was born 9-10-1886 and died in Charleston,SC on 12-30-69. Could this be in the same line as the Thomas Bounds in TN. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Fran

Regarding Jesse Bounds...Had the 10 children, one was James.

Do you have dates of birth on the children and/or any more details on the kids.

We have a James Bounds b. 1815-1823? d.1898 marrying Sylva Willis b.1820 TN d.aft 1900 They went to Christian CO MO and had 11 kids.

up to today, but i still have to finish Bounds line from Thomas J Bounds Children born to 2 wife Ora Bounds So i Have 5 more genarations to go . but would be glad to send you what i have.
My first entry starts with John Bounds Senior born befor 1640 in England. Was Married to Ann Hiam Bounds she died in 1677 his 2 wife was Mabell Young Bounds.
My Thomas Jefferson Bounds Father was John Jeffferson Bounds born in 1835 Fayett County Tn died in 1888 was married to Pernicia A, Winfeild born in 1835 married in 1865
had son Thomas J Bounds born 1866 ( 2 )daughters Curtis Ann Viola Bounds born about 1853 an Josephine born 1867 Well thought I would Send you a little more information I

Saw your message. I am researching my husband's line. His great grandfather was Pascal Lafayette Bounds, born March 21, 1833 in TN. He married Mary Beaird born abt June 1835 in Bibb Co. Al. Their children: Julia, Newton, Olivia Elizabeth, Thomas Jefferson (never married), George Washington (my husband's grandfather), and James Franklin. Do you have any information that would indicate a connection?
