I have pictures of some of the Boschen family of Hanover County VA. Some are baby pictures but few have names. Of the baby pictures with names there is Leroy Boschen and Sun Boschen--a nice couple--could it be Henry Charles Boshcen and Margaret? or one of their children? These pictures are from late 1880 or very early 1900. My grandfather was Bernard B. Boschen. Original family migrated around 1834 from Hannover, Germany--the Boschen brothers and a sister. Henry Boschen and wife Christina Paul.

I'm also researching the Boschen family - my GGG-grandmother was Leonora Boschen, eldest daughter of John H. & Christina Boschen, and wife of Charles L. Siegel.

From my research, there was a Lee Roy Boschen, who was a son of Robert Wiley & Belle Lowry Boschen, and grandson of Henry C. & Margaret Boschen. Perhaps this is your Leroy?

Henry C. Boschen (son of Henry Boschen & Christina Paul) is my grandmother's grandfather. Her mother, Sylvia S Boschen, is Henry Boschen and Margaret Frischkorn's daughter. I would love to get whatever pictures you have and also any other information on our ancestry.

Hello, thanks for your reply. I traced the Boschens back to Germany--if I found the right family it was a surprise.
My mom always spoke of her aunt Sylvia "Sylvie" is what they called her. She grew up close to the old home place and some of the children were still living there. I have just a very few pictures of some of the brothers and sisters. I remember Gus--used to visit him in Ashland with my grandmother but never saw my grandfather (Bernard) passed away when my mother was a child. The picture of the couple was in my cousins things but she has no children so she gave me a lot of her pictures. I don't know who else it could be. That is the same family. LeRoy was my mother's cousin. I believe you helped my find my Ggrandmother's grave and I was able to locate some of the Freschkorn family.
